     JOB TITLE: Custodian – Night Shift ( JOB REF# 201705-06)

 


DESCRIPTION: To maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas (classrooms, lounges, halls, etc.) and to provide proper floor care to all types of floors including carpet, vinyl tile, slate and hardwood. To set up for conferences, workshops, dances, offices, etc. Job involves moving furniture, supplies and large equipment. During the summer session, will be assigned to assist with small repairs, painting, etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be able to work effectively with minimum supervision. Must have previous experience (2 years preferred) in the care of vinyl tile, carpet and hardwood floor care. Previous experience in an educational environment is desired. Must be physically fit in order to move desks, filing cabinets, tables, chairs, books, etc. and be capable of using ladders of all kinds. As needs dictate incumbent will be required to work in various buildings around the campus.

TYPE OF JOB: Temporary Full-time (40 hours per week) 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Sunday through Thursday – 6 months


EFFECTIVE DATE: 6 Months – to commence asap

 
                                           SALARY RANGE:
SSG40-4 $42,395. – $51,652 per annum, dependent on experience
