Job Description
Human Resources, Systems Coordinator
LOCATION: Education Centre, London
SALARY RANGE: $44,578 - $58,953
HIRING RANGE: $44,578 - $56,897
DATE OF VACANCY: As soon as possible
POSITION SUMMARY: The Systems Coordinator provides a high level of customer service to employees, Management and external partners. The Systems Coordinator will interact with and provide information to Management, Human Resources, Payroll, Information Technology Services, employees, external Benefits Trusts, pension plans and other groups as needed related to the Human Resources Information System, Benefit and Pension information.
Duties and responsibilities include: acting as the initial contact for the TVARRIS help desk both by phone, email or in person to troubleshoot issues for employees; assisting with routine tasks such as pulling and manipulating data for reports on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis for both internal and external partners; participating in new employee orientation and training as required; researching and resolving issues related to data and completing calculations to ensure data accuracy; engaging in various projects and other duties as assigned related to the Human Resources Information Systems, Benefits and Pension information; and collaborating with the Benefits Specialist to process and communicate all required information related to employee activation and termination of benefits and pension data for active employees retired employees and death benefits as needed.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of a two (2) year post-secondary program in Human Resources or equivalent as determined by the Board. One (1) year of related work experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
