Claims Associate

Express is recruiting to fill a Claims Associate opportunity on an evaluation hire basis for our client in London, ON!  The pay range for this position is between $17.00-$18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities of the job:

• Answer incoming claims calls from clients and brokers
• Process claims and forward to adjusting firm
• Keep management updated on any large claims or issues that arise
• Liaise with adjusting firm co-ordinator
• Assist the underwriting department as needed
• Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
• Prepare documentation for clients and brokers
• Issue insurance certificates

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of  customer service experience
• Complete proficiency in Excel, Adobe, & Outlook
• Professional customer service skills
• Able to work in a fast paced environment with little supervision
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Team oriented
