Autodata Solutions is looking for 2 .Net Developers to join their London team for a 6 month contract!

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking .NET Developers responsible for building .NET applications.   We expect familiarity with the full stack of .NET enterprise technologies, namely: MS SQL Server, TSQL, C#, ASP.NET MVC/WebApi, WCF, LINQ, Windows/Web Service.  In addition to the .NET framework, proficiency with web technologies, including: CSS, JSON, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, HTML5 are required. Object Oriented Design/Development, as well as experience with enterprise application architecture and patterns like, distributed software design, messaging architectures, syndication, producer-consumer, and pub-sub, and multithreading.  Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server are also a part of the development toolset. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these layers of our applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

 

Responsibilities: 

SOA Development (65%)

  • Implement domain driven design concepts, Service orientation implemented with HTTP services, WebAPI, WCF, and WAS
  • Work in conjunction with domain architects, and business experts to design and develop business services to spec and from functional requirement documents
  • Communicate designs and solution concepts with the aid of Visio flowcharts, UML, PowerPoint, or similar modeling tools
  • Run unit test, minimize technical debt with the aid of de-linters and like SonarLint, and productivity tools like Resharper
  • Database design and implementation, as well SQL and TSQL development

UI Development (10%)

  • Recommend, research, code, schedule and deploy software improvements and upgrades
  • Assist Systems Analysts, Architects, technical Managers and team Developers in conceptualization and development of new software applications
  • Generate, run and monitor automated unit, integration and performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging: evaluate test results and deliver solutions to problem areas

Support & Admin (25%)

  • Identify bottlenecks & bugs; devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code while minimizing technical debt
  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Comp Sci or Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ full .NET stack development experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary and multi-locational teams
  • Effective in workload management and possess good time management skills; can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working in the following languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL
  • Experience in Service Oriented Architecture
  • 3 yrs. hands-on experience with relational databases such as: MySQL & Microsoft SQL Server
