Talentcor London is currently recruiting YARD LOADERS for our client in Thorndale. This job will entail the loading and unloading of all incoming and outgoing deliveries. The loader will also interact with drivers and clients as required. THIS IS A PERMANENT POSITION WITH OUR CLIENT.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Perform proper and safe operation and preventative maintenance of all forklifts and yard vehicles
• Load and unload all deliveries using a forklift or physical labor as required, ensuring no loading errors while maximizing payloads
• Management of CPU's and RMA's
• Promote excellent customer service
• Maintain and develop new job skills through training 
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years in a similar role an asset
• Forklift and OTR driving skills a must. Rough terrain forklift experience a must
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts in a safe manner
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of receiving procedures, basic inventory management and local shipping regulations
• Repeatedly lift and move heavy items. Twisting, bending, reaching
• Perform physical labor in temperature extremes
• Must have CSA approved safety boots
• Knowledge of various Health and Safety policies and procedures including safe lifting and carrying.
• MUST have the flexibility to work 40+ hours on varying shifts including weekends and OT as required

SALARY:

•  $16.00 to start, with $0.50 increases at 3 and 6 months
