Operations & Maintenance Technician (renewable energy industry)

On behalf of our client who specializes in renewable project development, specifically Solar PV solutions, we are searching for an Operations & Maintenance Technician to join their London area team. The successful candidate is responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance, system commissioning, troubleshooting and the timely repair of customer equipment. This is a straight day position, that will require some overtime and travel to customer sites across Ontario.

Qualifications
 

• Previous experience and strong foundation with electrical installations, troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Related post-secondary as an Electrical Technologist, Electrician, Maintenance Technician, etc.

• Experienced with or willing to learn the detailed operation and component functions of solar power generation equipment and other related equipment.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract.

• Must have valid passport for occasional travel to customer sites outside of Canada.
