The Diocese of London requires an Accountant for data entry and related duties in disbursing non-payroll accounts payable to individuals, suppliers, parishes, corporations, and other entities using Epicor Accounting Software; preparing invoicing to parishes, third related parties, and others. The Accountant will also ensure the timely and accurate preparation of spreadsheets, and other financial and government reports as required. This person will provide telephone and on-line bookkeeping and Business Vision Accounting Software support to parish secretaries/bookkeepers. Attention to detail is critical. This position requires a diplomatic approach to providing billing/invoicing, reporting information and support in order to facilitate the operations of the accounting department.

Thirty-five (35) hours per week, salary in accordance to the Diocese of London guidelines. Medical/dental and pension benefits provided.

Qualifications:
College level Accounting Diploma.
Three to five year (3-5) experience.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements: Working with a team of four, this person reports to the Director of Accounting. Familiarity with Diocesan structures an asset.
