Are you a reliable, self-sufficient, friendly, technician looking to work on an industrial forklift service technician position? This fantastic opportunity for a Service Technician (Forklift Repair Tech) is needed to perform diagnostics and regular maintenance, service, upkeep on customer industrial forklifts. You must be able to complete regular preventative maintenance on material handlers, customer-needs analysis, repairs, breakdown with the ability to balance maintenance tasks, inventory tracking and commit to servicing the client, and dealing with customers.

What will you be doing here?

• Doing maintenance and repair on a wide variety of material handling equipment
• Complex understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Read and interpret blueprint
• Working with customers to asses needs
• Submitting inventory orders

Qualifications
What do you need to apply?

• Must have Class-A mechanics licence OR a mechanical background in a similar trade
• Millwright, industrial mechanic, automotive, truck or coach mechanic or otherwise
• Must have a propane-handling licence and forklift repair experience
• Must have valid drivers’ licence
• Must have a good understanding of combustion engines, transmissions, hydraulics
• Must have electric-forklift troubleshooting experience
• Must have own tools
• Company-provided service vehicle
