Salary Range: $34.60 - $40.73 /hour

 


Reporting to the Treasury Finance Manager, an exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated, self-directed individual to work with the Treasury team in the department of Finance.

The Treasury Analyst provides daily analysis of activity occurring through the various financial bank accounts and investment portfolios at St. Joseph's and works to seek resolution for outstanding collections and accounts receivable. This position also supports recommendations related to revenue opportunities within the organization and improved processes for collections and accounts receivable by gathering data and conducting analysis. Support for banking and collection related projects will also be required.

With a thorough understanding of general ledger reconciliations, banking with credit agreements, loan amortizations, interest, and exchange rates, the successful candidate will ensure that the organizations cash flow is aligned with operational needs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a three-year diploma in a related financial business field such as Finance and Accounting
  • Minimum of two (2) years of comprehensive financial analyst or accounting experience
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
  • Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting practices, principles and reconciliation processes
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Excel knowledge at an intermediate level
  • Excellent organizational skills to establish and balance competing priorities in a challenging and diverse work environment
  • Superior interpersonal skills with a strong patient/public focus as well as a positive and professional attitude toward assisting internal or external clients
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a pleasant telephone manner
  • Understanding of financial banking transactions, including but not limited to loan amortizations, interest, and exchange rates
  • Basic knowledge of HST and non-resident taxes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Progression towards completion of a recognized accounting designation
  • Experience within a hospital finance environment
  • Experience with HRCM (Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management - Infor Application) or similar enterprise-level financial accounting software and system upgrades

  • St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St. Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties
Immunization Requirements
  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
