Job Description:
Position Purpose summary:
The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is part of a century old tradition to contribute towards building strong communities by helping TSA to give hope to other. The Christmas Kettle Coordinator position is a short-term contract position. The successful candidate is responsible for oversight of several Christmas Kettle locations in a given geographical zone area. Zone locations include shopping malls, grocery stores and retail outlets. They organize, direct, and supervise the work performed by Christmas Kettle Campaign Workers. They will also ensure adequate staffing is met prior to and during each shift.
Incumbent may perform all, some, or similar range of duties as below:

FINANCIAL AND MATERIALS MANAGEMENT:
•Collect donations and petty cash and ensure donations are always kept secure.

Shifts may include days, afternoons, evenings, weekend shifts, and split shifts, Monday through Saturday. Applicable shifts include a ½ hour unpaid meal break.

Education, Qualifications and Certifications:
Experience and Skilled Knowledge Requirements:

Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's License, personal vehicle required and insurance, current copy of driver's abstract for review and verification that is satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion, is required.

Ability and willingness to undergo applicable screening and background checks successfully that are satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion (i.e., The Salvation Army Abuse Registry) and provide an original copy of a Background Check screening.
Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is $17.60 to $21.84 with a maximum of $26.20.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
