Job Description
Come and work with the amazing team at Belair! We are looking for someone to join our Flat Pack Team in their unique role within the organization. This role will be a creative challenge in that it will require the successful candidate to make custom cardboard packaging for all different shapes and sizes of office furniture to be shipped across the continent.
Duties Will Include
Make custom packaging for required product according to established standards
Gather and pack custom hardware
Work with other team members to package all product on time, every time, working with production to problem solve as issues arise and deadlines approach
Communicating with fellow team members and asking them for help if you require their involvement or if they request your help
Understanding of Belair’s entire catalogue of products
Managing your tasks as assigned and communicating if workload requires adjustments
Be positive and personable in all interactions
Cooperate with other Belair teams in support of company initiatives
Maintain all required documentation for all processes
Participation in continuous improvement exercises
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications And Skills
Experience in the packaging or cabinet/woodworking industry is not required, but is an asset
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Gmail/Google Workspace, overall familiarity with and ability to learn new applications and technologies)
Conscientiousness, attention to detail, accuracy and organisation is important in this role
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Focus on continual learning and improvement
Always available to act with integrity and honesty
