Compensation: $20.23 per hour (plus 4% in vacation pay)
Number of Positions: 1 vacancy, contingent upon approval of Canada Summer Jobs funding
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week including evenings and weekends

The Events and Customer Service position supports natural heritage and environmental programming, education programs, and recreational events at Fanshawe Conservation Area. This position also helps support the visitor experience and customer service team to enhance visitor experience, and assist with the development, implementation and coordination of programs and special events that align with the UTRCA’s strategy and vision.
This role is contingent upon funding through the Canada Summer Jobs program, to be approved April 2025. Job offers will be made only upon confirmation of funding.
Responsibilities

Assist with the coordination of booking and monitoring internal programs and special events, external special events, programs and outdoor recreation day use rentals within the Fanshawe day-use area and event spaces
Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Environmental Studies, Recreation, Tourism and Hospitality, Event Planning or a related program;

Last, but certainly not least, passion, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
