Our client in the food manufacturing industry is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Food Production Associate to join their team.
Location: London, ON
Pay: $18.00/hour - paid weekly!
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Schedule: Days and afternoons shifts (shifts fall between 9am-1am) and include occasional Saturday's.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production & Packaging
- Operate and monitor production lines
- Weigh, mix, and package ingredients
- Apply labels and ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and perform basic equipment maintenance
Sanitation & Safety
- Support daily and weekly sanitation routines
- Follow all health, safety, and food handling protocols
Warehouse Support
- Palletize and rotate stock
- Load/unload shipments and stage orders
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping
Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience in food production
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and safe food handling practices
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods
- Strong communication and basic English comprehension
- Flexible with shift times and able to work independently or in a team
- Must be willing to purchase rubber boots
