WINTER SEASONAL MAINTENANCE

POSITION OVERVIEW
The London International Airport is seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team for Winter Seasonal Maintenance. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the airport remains safe, operational, and accessible throughout the winter months. Work will take place on both the airside and public side areas of the airport, with responsibilities focused on snow removal, ice control, and general maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Remove snow and ice from runways, taxiways, aprons, roads, sidewalks, and parking lots using plows, sweepers, sanders, snow blowers, and shovels
Apply de-icing materials and assist with facility and grounds maintenance
Inspect equipment before and after use for safe operation
Respond to changing weather and operational needs
Follow all airport safety requirements, Transport Canada regulations, and airside operating procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
Related maintenance, snow-removal, or equipment experience is an asset; training is provided
Safely operate maintenance vehicles and equipment in winter conditions
Able to work outdoors in all weather and perform physical tasks, including lifting and shovelling
Available for early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call snow events
Valid DZ driver’s licence
Able to obtain and maintain Transport Canada security clearance
Able to obtain AVOP and Radiotelephone Operator’s permits within two weeks of hire
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
Competitive hourly wage rate of $27.40 plus potential for overtime. Rate is inclusive of all benefits, vacation pay, stat holiday pay.
