Position Summary:
We are seeking a Machinist/Assembler to join our dynamic team in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment at our Strathroy location. Autotube is a Tier 1 fluid transfer component manufacturing company, trusted by the automotive industry for almost 50 years.

Hiring for Day Shift (Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm), No Rotating Shifts!

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble machines and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Build new tooling or fixtures from blueprints, CAD files, or verbal instructions.
Operate tool room equipment: mills, lathes, surface grinders, saws, etc.
Troubleshoot tooling failures and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Participate in machinery commissioning, debugging, and adjustments.
Modify existing tooling to support engineering changes or quality improvements.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production departments to support continuous improvement.
Follow and promote all safety policies and procedures.
Assist in maintaining inventory of critical tool components and spare parts.

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience working with a CNC Mill and Lathe.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
Familiar with precision measurement and machining practices (Calipers, micrometers, etc)
Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Preferred Assets:

Experience in manufacturing or continuous improvement.
CNC programming experience.
Basic understanding of PLCs or automation troubleshooting.
