Job Description

On behalf of our client in London, ON, are currently seeking a Payroll and Accounts Payable Clerk.  This is a full time position with the possibility of benefits.

Duties (may include and not limited to)
 
Payroll Duties
  • Process payroll on a weekly basis
  • Review and enter all timesheets, entering adjustments as requested
  • Balance to ensure accuracy of entries
  • Entry of statutory holiday pay and create related reports
  • Send out weekly invoices via email and mail
Accounts Payable Duties
  • Receive and review all incoming invoices and obtain approval for payment
  • Enter invoice into AccPac accounting system
  • Review and process payment for all credit cards
  • Complete all government remittances monthly
  • Review and enter all general expense reports once approval is obtained
  • Review cash flow to ensure sufficient funds
  • Other general administrative and accounting duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting or payroll position required
  • Must be comfortable working with the MS Office Suite; particularly with Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical aptitude required
  • Experience with AccPac software preferred
  • Ability to perform duties accurately with a level of precision while maintaining a steady workflow
Compensation: $14-16.00/hour dependent upon experience
 
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
