As Controller you will report directly to the Managing Directors and overlook the financial wellbeing of the company by managing and applying accounting principles and procedures, analyzing financial data, preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports while ensuring appropriate accounting controls and procedures are followed by your team. 

Salary range: negotiable

Qualifications:

• Hands on experience in receivables, payables, payroll, inventory and tax accounting
• A proven employment record of leadership in a controller position.
• Experience preparing year-end statements for audit
• Good influencing and communication skills to lead and manage the collections process
• Ability to analyze financial statements and communicate results during monthly management meetings  
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex operations and provide input on opportunities to improve finance controls
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to build good relationships with internal staff and external clients
• Industry experience in a multi-level distribution channel would be an asset
• Experience with Simply Accounting

Education: CGA, CMA or University degree - college diploma or final year of CGA or CMA
