StarTech.com is currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team at our Corporate Office in London, Ontario.

Reporting to the Talent Management Lead, the Talent Acquisition Specialist makes an impact by proactively identifying and recruiting top talent for open positions at StarTech.com, and by working closely with department managers to fulfill their recruiting needs.

What You Can Show Us

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience within full-cycle recruitment
• An undergraduate degree from an accredited university
• The ability to directly source candidates using a wide variety of methods, including social media
• Experience with behavioral interviewing techniques
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to deal with complex hiring processes, following them through to closure
• A strong process orientation and organizational skills to manage multiple, competing priorities
• Client service orientation, together with the ability to provide advisory support to hiring managers
• Experience with posting positions, tracking search metrics, and using relevant technologies
• Exceptional communications, with strong speaking and writing skills
• Knowledge of relevant regulations – ie. employment & hiring, accessibility, and privacy requirements
• Experience in a technology-oriented industry would be an asset
