Job Description

On behalf of our client in London, ON, we are currently recruiting for a full time Administrative Assistant with Customs Experience on a contract basis (maternity leave coverage).
 
Duties (include but not limited to):
  • Handle calls and questions from clients and/or drivers    
  • Utilize Border Connect to create required documentation for customs
  • Data entry of driver, truck and client information
  • Communicate with clients and/or drivers regarding any updates, delays, issues, etc.
  • Troubleshoot any potential issues
  • Assist dispatcher with duties as required
  • General office duties including faxing, filing, photocopying, etc.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 year College Diploma
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience
  • Experience and/or exposure to customs documentation considered a strong asset
  • Must have strong customer service and administrative skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Must have advanced communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be able to work independently and prioritize multiple demands in a fast paced environment
Hours:
  • Monday-Friday; 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Compensation:
  • $14.00/Hour Paid Weekly
