Job Description
The London District Catholic School Board has a reputation for excellence, with more than 3,000 employees working together to educate approximately 22,000 students at 43 elementary schools, 9 secondary schools and the Centre for Lifelong Learning within Middlesex, Oxford and Elgin counties, including the cities of London, St. Thomas, Strathroy and Woodstock.

CASUAL ESL INSTRUCTORS
St. Patrick Adult & Continuing Education
(1230 King Street, London, ON N5W 2Y2)
Reporting to the Principal, the casual ESL Instructor delivers a curriculum that aligns with the Canadian Language Benchmarks for reading, writing, listening and speaking. This position could include any level of ESL from ESL Literacy, CLB 1-7 and may include the creation of lessons for multi-level classes.
At this time, we are seeking candidates for our evening classes, both in-person and online. However, we have classes that run all day, with future opportunities to move where possible
QUALIFICATIONS:
Start Date: September 2022 Salary: $28.38/hour + 4% vacation

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a three-year college or university degree, additional training/experience in teaching adults, OCELT accredited, and language proficiency.
- PBLA training and experience preferred
- CLB Bootcamp certificate preferred
- Experience in preparing lessons for Adult ESL students preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proficient computer and technology skills to aid in instruction including D2L in the virtual learning environment and Microsoft Office software
- Excellent organization, problem-solving and communication skills
