Job Description

About The Andrews Group

Since 1987, Mike Andrews has had client service at the front of his mind. Mike’s goal then, and The Andrews Group’s goal today, is to have a significant, positive impact beyond just money in the lives of our clients; to help you have a genuine sense of freedom and security to do the things they want to do.
From a single individual to a thriving, multi-faceted team, The Andrews Group has succeeded based on our desire to consistently innovate, be different and be a leader in the industry, while always providing exemplary advice and client service. We want to make a difference in our client’s lives, freeing their time through our wealth planning services to allow them to do what they enjoy. We are always looking ahead so that our clients can enjoy the present and be prepared for the future.

This role is the “strategic brain” role of The Andrews Group wealth planning services and deliverables. It is a robust, challenging, dynamic role and the most collaborative role in the firm, whether working with the internal wealth planning group or outside professionals. Clients are looking for solutions to complex challenges, answers to questions with multiple variables. They are searching for simple answers to complex questions. Mostly they are looking for peace of mind and security that we have covered all the areas for them.

Key member of the group and the chair of our bi-weekly meetings focusing on client experience, wealth planning continuing education and strategy development. Identifies wealth management opportunities through various firm channels.

We are actively seeking candidates who are:

• Analytical. Able to disassemble an interconnected whole into smaller chunks, and in doing so draw useful conclusions about how the whole works.
• Detail-oriented. Committed to executing on both the big and the small parts to ensure quality.
• Tech literate. Able to leverage tools that help streamline operations. You don’t need to code or build software, but we want you to be able to think through the trade-offs for when to use an automated process vs. having a human involved.
• Strong communicators. Able to ensure clear hand-offs and persuade stakeholders of the importance of something instead of needing to rely on authority to get things done.
• Collaborative. Working alongside the team to create resilient and sustainable workflows. Doing your part while trusting others to do theirs.
• Thoughtful. Thinking through all the different steps of a process and asking insightful questions about the purpose and consequences of the different options.
• Curious. Understanding that you do not have all the answers while creating space to learn from those around you.
