Job Description
Agilus Work Solutions is urgently hiring (4) Wood Assemblers for our client located in Ilderton, ON (10-15 min. North London). This is a straight day shift and for the right hardworking individual could be an evaluation hire (temporary to permanent).
Wood Assembler Hours and Compensation
- Full-time and straight day shift!
- Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 4:00pm and Friday's 6:30am to 3:00pm
- Overtime available
- $16.00/hour
- Start immediately!

Wood Assembler Responsibilities:
- Assemble roof truss or floor assembly by setup on table, separates material at workstation and hammer in metal plates to join wood parts together
- Place proper material into setup specified on layout
- Follow production list by priority given by Assembler Lead to accomplish shift goals
- Comply with all safety rules within the shop area and yard, including wearing proper PPE
- Maintain machine cleanup procedures and daily cleanup in area
Wood Assembler Requirements:
- Own reliable transportation preferred (not on a bus route)
- Willing to obtain a hammer for the position
- Willing to start this week or by next week the latest
- Able to lift 40-50lbs with ease
- Able to step up and off of platform with ease
- Able to bend, twist, lift and work repetitively
