ABOUT THIS POSITION 

Digital Extremes is seeking a PR Manager to lead the global public relations efforts for Warframe. As a key member of the communications team and broader marketing team, this role is primarily responsible for developing strategic campaigns and programs that will increase the quality, quantity and impact of editorial coverage. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create opportunities to tell stories that delight our players
• Raise awareness, improve equity and increase play interest
• Develop and execute strategic PR plans in support of campaign goals
• Lead the strategic planning, tactical execution and reporting of PR initiatives
• Generate positive, impactful and wide reaching global editorial coverage for Warframe
• Establish, maintain and grow stronger partnership with global media
• Conceive, design, write, produce and distribute various communications materials
• Improve international PR results and define internal operations for growth
• Champion robust PR activations and programs across multiple cross-functional groups
• Manage a budget and four external agencies in various international markets
• Partner with the Marketing Communications Manager for integrated campaign plans
• Partner with the studio team to identify requirements and opportunities for exposure
• Support the Director of Communications in Corp and Studio communication programs
• Day-to-day project management; tracking team tasks, deliverables and deadlines
• Partner with the events and multimedia team to operate events and produce assets
• Transform product marketing strategies into robust multi-level communication campaigns
• Effectively champion cross-functional projects and own outcomes

REQUIREMENTS 

• BA in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in public relations and/or communications in the games industry
• Ideally, 1-2 years supporting a live online game
• Established relationships with press and key industry professionals
• Creative and compelling writer with proven storytelling skills
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills including budget management
• Ability to analyze data and report on PR performance to stakeholders
• Deep understanding of positioning, brand, and promotional strategies
• Clever, innovative personality with a passion for gamer culture
• Extensive knowledge of global editorial market
