Job Description

On behalf of our client in London, Ontario, we are currently recruiting for a full-time Accounts Receivable & Collections Clerk on a contract basis.
 
Duties (may include and not limited to) 
  • Ensure prompt collection of accounts receivable
  • Investigate customer invoicing queries
  • Process customer credits, GL adjustments and manual invoices
  • Process AR receipts and prepare daily deposit
  • Maintain petty cash for London branch
  • Investigate credit application information or potential customers and maintain customer database
  • Provide support for branch staff with regards to invoicing and collection queries
  • Provide back up for accounts payable function and perform job-related projects and duties as assigned
 
Requirements
  • Business Accounting diploma is preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years related work experience required
  • Solid computer skills; must demonstrate the ability to learn and regularly use the inventory/accounting program
  • Solid communication and organizational skills
  • Strong mathematical abilities and basic understanding of accounting
  • Ability to use time efficiently and work independently

Hours: Monday to Friday, daytime hours
Compensation: $18.00-20.00 per hour
