Agilus has an opening for a Tape Testing Technician to join the Corporate Research & Development team for our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, located in London, ON. This is a one year contract offering an opportunity to demonstrate your strengths.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will work under the direction of principal investigators where you will gain experience in a challenging environment while contributing your own distinct skills and talents to the team.  In this role you will perform physical testing of pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape and backings for the wide variety of tapes manufactured in Canada, as well as new tape and abrasives in development.  The work will primarily involve sample testing and data documentation, with some additional formulating and sample preparation required. 

 Basic Qualifications:

• Technology Diploma or Science Degree from accredited College or University
• Proficient in basic lab skills, with experience in sample preparation, data management, maintaining records of experiments, etc.
• Demonstrated computer knowledge (Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Familiarity with analysis and statistical methods would be beneficial
• Will be required to follow established safety standards and company policies
• Strong business ethics, integrity
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills
• Attention to details
• Collaborative personality style
• Set high personal standards and goals
