Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a full-time MIG Welder for a large medical manufacturer in south London.
This position is a 6-8 month contract with an immediate start.
Requirements:
- Must have 1-2 years experience in an assembly/machine operating role
- You strive in a fast paced environment
- You are a great multi-tasker (you enjoy challenge & change)
- Must have reliable vehicle (shift is not bus accessible)
- Must have great manual dexterity
- Must have a clean criminal record
Duties include:
- Read blueprints to accurately measure, cut, and assemble metal/steel
- Select Suitable Materials and set up components for welding according to specifications
- Prepare metal surfaces by using angel grinders
- Inspect weld strength during and after the welding process.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm, Friday 6:00am-10:00am
Pay: $18/hour
