Responsibilities:
- Select, situate, and affix tooling/appendages/components for manual and CNC lathes
- Determine dimensions and tolerances of workpieces based on drawings and blueprints
- Determine setup and sequence of operations based on drawings and blueprints
- Observe machines, detect malfunctions, adjust controls to reduce non-conformances
- Ensuring conformance to workpiece specifications
- Adjust codes for CNCs
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience of setting and operating manual and CNC lathes
- High school diploma or GED
- General Machinist certification (preferred)
