Job Description
Drake International is proudly partnered with a reputable company in South London who are looking to add members to their team. We are currently interviewing for the role of Fabrication Assembly / Forklift Operator
This is a full time opportunity that will allow candidates to learn and grow their skillset on the job. Our client offers a great work environment and 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience as;
- Forklift Operator
- Assembly
- CNC Operator
- Machine Operator
You can also enjoy a 4 day work week with this role as the schedule would have the successful candidates working 4- 10 hour shifts.
$18/hr - $18/50/hr to start
Duties include:
- Use tools to make, assemble or repair parts and products
- Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
- Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products
- Keep a clean and tidy workspace
- Use of fabrication machinery with 1 or more of the following machines will be facilitated:
- Robotic Welder
- Flat Laser
- CNC Machines
- Milling Machines
- Lathes
- Forklift
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined, experience with hand tools
- Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints (metric & imperial)
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure product quality meets customer needs
- Previous forklift experience an asset
- Must have a reliable vehicle (this position is not located on a bus route)
- Clean criminal record
Shifts: Mon-Thurs 3:30-2am
