THE POSITION
- Responsible for shop floor shift supervision meeting all customer delivery and quality expectations by coordinating manpower, raw material, shipments and production.
- Oversee the day-to-day plant activities on their assigned shift to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy working environment.
- Create a positive work environment focused on improving productivity through employee engagement by providing performance feedback, continuous training and an open door.
- This position will require a two or three shift rotation as defined by the production schedule.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- Recommended Community College Diploma or University Degree combined with a minimum of 5 years of production management experience.
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes, inventory control and quality systems.
- Focus in safety that includes implementation of corrective actions.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and problem-solving methods.
- Excellent organizational, communication and motivational skills.
