Job Description
On behalf of our client in London, ON, we are recruiting for a Purchase and Payments Analyst on a full time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

Compensation: $35,000-$45,000 depending on candidate experience

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Develop strong working relationships with top vendors
- Obtain quarterly statements and perform a formal reconciliation including analysis of outstanding issues and an action plan for follow up
- Summarize vendor reconciliation results to be analyzed at quarterly review meetings
- Proactively identify common sources of reconciliation items, documenting action plans and following up with clear communication to vendors
- Evaluate results of action plans to improve efficiencies
- Monitor the vendor support inbox and follow up in a timely basis
- Proactively research vendor inquiries by reviewing reports and transactions
- Review purchase reports for completeness and enter data
- Create vendor sku reports and review
- Obtain rebate payment remittances and appropriately code the collection
- Create and update projection vs. collection files
Key Qualifications:
- Completion of a University Degree or College Diploma with a focus in Accounting
- Strong communication skills
- Professional self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Display desire for continuous self-improvement
- Ability to develop a high level of trust and respect from internal customers
- Works well in a team environment
- Analytical ability to identify key issues and opportunities for improvement
- Bilingualism considered an asset
Compensation: $35,000-$45,000 depending on candidate experience
