Customer Service Representative – Admissions (ADM 40153)
Admission Services – Domestic and International
Office of the Registrar

Location: London
Employment Group: Support
Hours:  35 hours per week.  Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 
Hours shift to 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. during peak periods in January and September – for a pre-determined number of shifts (usually 5 or 6 per peak period)

Pay Details:  $25.63 per hour
Closing Date:  August 18, 2021

Note:  This role will work remotely until regular operations are resumed.  

Note:  This is a full-time temporary position until November 30, 2022 (35 hours per week). 

Duties:  Under the supervision of the Senior Associate Registrar, Admission Services – Domestic and International, and under the guidance of the Work Team coordinator, the incumbent provides service to applicants and students while adhering to all procedures, Ministry and College policies relating to admission and registration for programs and courses offered by the College. Responds to applicant/customer inquiries, accesses supporting documentation for admission to the College and completes registration for entry into programs and courses. 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary 2-year diploma in Office Administration or Business
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a computerized office, commitment to quality customer service environment within a high flow traffic area
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Must have a high degree of accuracy, be able to work under pressure during peak periods, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with student registration/admissions system preferred
  • Able to multi-task under extremely tight admission timelines
