Quality Specialist – Root Cause & Corrective Action
Express Employment Professionals are hiring for a Permanent Role for a Quality Specialist within an Automotive Manufacturing Facility. This role is to support clients such as General Motors, Tesla, Toyota, and Ford and the primary goal is to provide support to investigate customer complaints. The ideal candidate would possess prior experience in Automotive Manufacturing writing Corrective Action Reports and dealing directly with customers.

Salary: 55-60K Annually plus Benefits from start date

Quality Engineer Responsibilities
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager your primary goal is to provide support to investigate customer complaints in addition but not limited to:
  • Problem verification, containment actions, failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventative actions and effectiveness verification
  • Coordination of investigation activity with cross functional team
  • Writing corrective action reports independently using 5P format
  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude is needed to implement process improvement through corrective actions
  • Participate in improvement projects between suppliers and internal processes to achieve internal quality goals
  • Other duties as assigned
Quality Engineer Requirements
  • Education: Technical Degree at bachelor’s Level or above
  • 3-5 Years’ Experience in Quality Engineer or Quality Specialist roles
  • Must be familiar with OEM standards (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
  • Experience leading investigations including root cause and corrective action, leading and writing 5P and 5D reports while completing all documentation for the investigation into quality issues from customers
  • Prior experience working directly with customers and suppliers for corrective actions
  • Experience within Stamping and Automated / MIG Welding Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Excel/Word/Outlook
