Job Description
Our Shipper & Receiver's perform a wide variety of tasks, ensuring delivery of medical device products to hospitals and medical clinics across Canada. Using our RF scanning machines, multiple courier systems and our inventory management system, you will be responsible for picking, packing, shipping and receiving our product from our head office warehouse in east London. You must be a collaborative team player with excellent customer service skills and ensure attention to detail to fulfill our mission statement of “Putting Patient Outcomes First… In Everything We Do” ®
You must have a high level of detail and have a strong aptitude for using computer systems, especially Microsoft Excel. You must also be physically able to stand, bend, climb and lift throughout the day. We are a highly computerized distribution centre and your comfort level with technology must be strong.
This is a team atmosphere, working in groups to accomplish getting customer orders out the door every day, to arrive at a hospital for a patient who is likely having a surgery and needing our product the very next day. This is a Monday to Friday role, working 8:30 - 5:00pm. You will be eligible for 2 wage increases in your first 12 months, comprehensive benefits after 3 months (with premiums paid for by the company) and 3 weeks paid vacation per year to start. We are a casual work environment, safety boots will be required (and reimbursed by the company) and we are on a bus route.
