The Intermediate Programmer will report to the Integration Manager and assist in the development and deployment of EyeLook Media’s digital signage and interactive solutions. Job Duties
- Develop and test code to suit interactive and digital signage projects
- Provide technical solutions for client implementations including layout/planning of interactive and digital signage solutions
- Integrate functionality into applications that will serve as standard modules for future projects
- Continue to develop digital signage software solutions
- Update and manage content for clients through our software
- Maintain technical manuals
- Research and keep up-to-date on new digital signage technologies and software development concepts and principles
- Act as the technical support specialist for company staff and clients
- Attend and participate in production meetings, working with the Integration Manager to update team members of progress in relation to clients and prospects
- Post-Secondary education in Programming or Computer Science, and/or a related discipline and equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and demonstrate problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be able to work individually and as part of a team
- Able to multitask and be dynamic
- Able to manage time wisely and complete tasks on time and according to plan
- Knowledge and experience in OOP will be a definite asset
- Strong Working Knowledge of:
- Windows, Ul Design, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, PHP, Server side and client side web technologies
- Intermediate Understanding in:
- Linux, jQuery, SQL, AJAX
- Desirable skills include:
- Java, C/C++, C#, Mobile Development, other Javascript frameworks
