Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, analytical problem-solver to join our clients’ team! The Human Resources Generalist supports Employees at all levels, works closely with Production Supervisors and the Operations team and staff, and maintains all HR & health & safety programs. The ideal candidate is outgoing, analytical, process driven and has leadership experience.
Typical duties include:
  • Maintaining all HR programs, systems, procedures and policies
  • Maintain the staffing plan and lead the recruiting process
  • Assist all employees with general workplace issues and concerns
  • Organize and support disciplinary activity
  • Maintain all health & safety programs, systems, procedures and policies
  • Management Rep of the JHSC (certified member)
  • Lead all new employee onboarding activities
  • Point person for all WSIB related administration, and RTW programs

Who You Are
  • CHRP or CHRL certified
  • JHSC Certified Member
  • Analytical experience – must have proficiency using Microsoft Office 
  • 5+ years’ experience in an HR role in a manufacturing setting
  • Innovative, self-motivated, proactive and assertive.
