Express SRG is currently recruiting for a top-notch Controller for an insurance client. Reporting directly to the President/CEO; this hands-on position will be involved in the full cycle accounting for group of companies and will have one direct report.

Responsibilities (Not limited to:)

• Prepare monthly financial statements providing accurate analysis of organization’s results.
• Oversee/Perform all accounting transactions including AP, AR, GL, payroll.
• Compile and analyze financial reporting packages.
• Develop/maintain/improve timely and accurate information systems which aid in planning, control, and management of the operations.
• Provide overall support to the Senior Management Team. 

Qualifications:

• 5 plus years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in insurance industry would be ideal.
• CPA designation is an asset.
• Technical expertise with Sage, MS Excel, Access is required.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple objectives within strict time constraints.
