Job Description
As a service writer, you will be responsible for our customer’s experience and will be the customer’s first and last point of contact. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our client’s store will stand out. We are also looking for an individual who is familiar with the automotive repair industry as part of the job will be identifying client needs, presenting and answering questions about products and services, and recommending solutions.
Job Type: Full-time, permanent.
Shift Structure: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. During the months of April/May and November/December, a requirement will be to work 8am to 2pm on Saturdays until the busy season is over.
Pay Rate: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Front counter sales for mechanical work, tires, and rims
- Providing quotes to customers
- Receive and distribute mechanical work
- Scheduling appointments with customers
- Cashing customers out; invoicing
- Clean criminal record
- Previous customer service experience in the automotive repair industry (1 year preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge or experience
- Computer literate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure
