ATN Access Inc. is a community-based non-profit organization that assists people with disabilities and employment barriers to achieve their employment, educational, and quality of life goals.

ATN Access Inc. is looking for a Job Developer/Job Retention Specialist with experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds to assist in job development and retention.

Duties:

• Accept client referrals for job development and job placement as provided by the Employment Service (ES) Team

• Generate employment/placement opportunities from prospecting and actively engage employers though telephone and face-to-face meetings

• Build productive, ongoing relationships with employers for agency programs/clients, contact employers using random and targeted lead generation approaches for current client job placement needs, advocating on behalf of clients

• Document employer needs and requirements to assist the ES team and clients prepare for interviews

• Work with the ES team to match clients with employment opportunities secured through the job

  development process

• Liaise with employers during all stages of their relationship with ATN clients

• Develop on-the-job training plans for clients if required

• Work closely with the ES team to ensure placementsare supported to the extent needed

• Follow up with employers and clients to support ongoing employment retention or work assignments,

  monitor placements, assess work environment,and identify strategies to maintain client success

• Provide job retention and job coaching support to clients

• Meet client job placement and retention targets

• Document progress using an online tracking tool

  Qualifications:

  • College diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or relevant education in Sales, Marketing, Career Development, Job Development or a related field

  • 2-5years’ experience in job development, employer outreach and marketing, sales;customer relationship management will be considered an asset

  • Extensive knowledge of labour market trends

  • Some experience working in a non-profit setting an asset

  • Sensitivity and knowledge to issues/barriers experienced by people with disabilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, sales, and customer service skills

  • Willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting adults and youth disabilities and barriers

  • Well-developed time management, organization, and teamwork skills

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
     

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a variety of work environments

• Maintain meticulous records and assist in report writing

• Own transportation and willingness to travel outside the city of London

• Proof or ability to pass a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
