We are currently looking to hire one Senior Assembler to work at one of our client sites in London! Our client is a hydraulic equipment supplier and is looking for someone to join their team that is looking for longevity with a growing organization. This position will involve cross-training across all positions within Manufacturing and Assembly.

Position Type:              Contract to Perm with comprehensive benefits offered after probation.
Pay Rate:                       $20.00 per hour 
Production Hours:       Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Compensation:            Competitive Salary based on experience
Training:                      Training on all duties and procedures will be provided

Job Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery and basic hand tools.
• Blueprint reading with very good attention to details.
• Pick product from inventory for production line.
• Make adjustments to the product as necessary to produce the product within specifications and good workmanship.
• Proper house keeping using 5S initiatives.
• Follow our client’s Production guidelines and Policies & Procedures as per AS9100 QMS

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Manufacturing and Assembly environment a must with positive attitude
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret Blueprints.
• Experience operating production line machinery and basic hand tools safely
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Good physical strength and endurance and the ability to stand and concentrate on work for long periods of time.
• Experience interpreting charts, graphs and blueprints an asset.
• A condition of employment will be passing a criminal background check to ensure eligibility under Canada’s Controlled Goods Program (CGP).  Candidates must be either Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident to qualify for CGP.
