We are looking to fill vacancies at both our facilities, Ingersoll and Norwich.

The CNC Operator operates CNC machines per work order instructions and per CNC program to fabricate parts per customer specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company's health and safety policies
  • Operate, load/unload material, indicate vices/fixtures, and deburr
  • Inspect and verify conformance to work order specifications
  • Provide crucial input on CNC programming, tool path, and tool/cutter selection 
  • Count parts to ensure quantity is met and record quantity in system
  • Place parts at in-process inspection
  • Review and ensure that all equipment and tools are maintained per procedures
 
Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in CNC Machine Operation
  • Ability to read blue prints and data sheets
  • Ability to learn new technology and other skills quickly
  • Must know how to use a tape measure and vernier
  • Intermediate math skills including the ability to convert fractions to decimals
  • Ability to operate with a continuous sense of urgency in a fast paced working environment
  • Strong organizational skills and problem solving skills
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
  • Physically fit for heavy lifting of >35 lbs
