Part-time Personal Attendants in London
Cheshire has been providing quality in-home Personal Attendant Services to individuals with disabilities and higher risk seniors since 1979. That is thirty-seven years of doing this so you could say we are kind of experts by now. Being provincially funded and not-for-profit, we don’t spend a ton of money on marketing and advertising; we would rather utilize those precious dollars to enhance the level of care we provide our consumers. - A PSW or DSW certificate
- A valid Canadian Driver’s License and have regular access to a reliable vehicle
- A valid automobile insurance with liability coverage
- You have (or are able to acquire) a current Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- You are available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends and understand the nature of our work and the importance of good attendance
- You can rotate on Pager and On-call pager responsibilities as a normal part of your rotation
- You possess knowledge/ability of proper body mechanics and safe lifting/ transferring techniques
We offer our staff an extremely competitive starting pay rate of $19.56/hr and compensation for mileage and travel time. Part-time employees are eligible to receive 8% in lieu of benefits. On the job training, development opportunities, Emergency First Aid and CPR (re)certification are also provided by the agency.
