Express is urgently looking for a highly experienced; hands on Senior Accountant for an insurance broker client in London, ON. Reporting directly to the owner; this role is a hybrid of bookkeeping and general accounting functions.

Whats in it for you?

• Salary range 50,000-65,000 K Depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts; budgeting; reporting
• Maintain books; process Payroll, T4's,ROE
• Monthly remittance of government payments; HST; EHT, RST and corporate taxes
• Pay invoices to vendor; gather information for external auditors for annual review

Qualification:

• 5 plus years of bookkeeping and full cycle accounting experience
• Post secondary education in accounting
• Proficiency with sage 50 accounting software and MS Office
• Problem solving and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is MUST
