  • Appropriate combination of training and experience in a related social service field
  • Post-Secondary Degree in Social Work or equivalent degree in relevant field
  • Excellent relationship skills effective both in person, on the phone, and as part of the agency team.
  • Experience in dynamic risk assessment and safety planning; crisis intervention; counselling with women who have been abused including sexual abuse survivors; group facilitation with women and children, system navigation; and housing advocacy
  • Knowledge of criminal and family law and the local service system pertaining to women who have been abused and their children
  • Proficiency in office computer programs (Word, Outlook, Excel)
