QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR

Inovata Foods Corp. is currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to work at our Tillsonburg, Ontario location.
 

Located in Tillsonburg, Ontario with a partnered facility in Edmonton, Alberta Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of high quality frozen meals for prominent clients throughout North America.

General Qualifications:

• Must have 3-5 years of previous experience in a quality assurance supervisory role
• Experience in a food processing environment preferred
• Post-secondary education, preferably in a food science related field
• Commitment to support line operations in producing quality food products
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of HACCP and SQF procedures
• Must adhere to strict CFIA regulations and participate in regulatory audits
• Desire to work on a team

General Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality related processes for a multi-line production
• Ability to handle daily interactions with CFIA, outside auditors, customers and suppliers
• Manage quality concerns and correspond through both verbal and written communication
• Responsible for scheduling QA personnel to ensure all shifts are covered
• Maintain operational standards, quality standards and regulatory compliance
• Provide quality training and support to employees
• Adapt to a fast-paced work environment that spans over 3 shifts
