Property Accountant
Duties / Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full cycle accounting for various properties
- Prepare and analyze monthly statements
- Prepare annual budgets
- Set-up of properties and tenants in YARDI
- Provide financial and analytical assistance to Property Managers
- Effectively communicate financial information to Management
**Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Preferred candidate would have (or be pursuing)
- An accounting designation.;
- Minimum of 1-3 years business experience within real estate accounting and reporting; preferably property accounting experience.;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with an approachable manner.;
- Strong analytical and accounting skills with excellent attention to detail;
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently;
- Excellent computer skills, specifically with Excel.
