Prime Management Group Inc. is pleased to be partnering with ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services in the exciting search effort for an energetic, driven, and hands-on Director of Human Resources (HR) to join their growing team.

Reporting to the Executive Director, and as a key member of the senior leadership team, this inspirational, compassionate, and people-focused Director of Human Resources will lead the development of innovative human resource frameworks, policies, and procedures for the organization while providing the hands-on delivery of all HR related programs.  With a focus on results, this leader will work with a high level of expertise in the management and execution of all HR programs, including; talent management/recruitment, performance management, succession planning, training and development, employment legislation, human rights, health & safety, employment standards, job evaluations, and employee relations. Likewise, this intuitive and motivational Director of Human Resources will be an influential driving force behind the advancement of an employee-focused, collaborative, and engaging workforce culture in a fast-paced hybrid/remote service-based environment.

The Director of Human Resources will be a committed champion, coach, and mentor to a results-focused HR team while driving operational efficiency through value-added workflow processes and programs. This highly collaborative leader will closely support senior leadership, conduct relevant staff training, and recommend methods and practices to build remote working relationships that increase engagement, and boost productivity and retention across the organization. In addition, this hands-on working director will develop and manage sustainable talent management, onboarding, and employee management frameworks, including innovative talent/recruitment, performance management, and succession planning strategies to attract and retain top talent.  The highly organized, dedicated leader will also maintain a comprehensive understanding and awareness of related legislation, trends, and programs and compile comprehensive improvement recommendations for ONE CARE's human resources information system.

The successful candidate will hold a university degree in an HR-related discipline, a human resources designation (C.H.R.P or C.H.R.L), and present with a minimum of 3-5 years of proven leadership and direct experience in the development of sustainable and scalable HR programs and solutions. This service-focused leader who also enjoys being involved in a hands-on role, will have a proven track record of developing progressive performance management, succession planning, recruitment, training and development, and onboarding plans, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of legislation related to Employment Standards, Human Rights, Occupational Health and Safety, and W.S.I.B,  Finally, the Director of Human Resources will have the capacity to think critically and conceptually by translating ideas into practice and demonstrate success in leading and supporting organizational change based on continuous improvement ideas to position ONE CARE as a best-in-class quality, accessible community care service.
