Arvin Sango Canada Inc. (ASCI) is an automotive component manufacturer, specializing in vehicle exhaust systems and welded structural components. We currently have an opportunity for a motivated and electrically inclined Maintenance Team Member in our London, Ontario facility. SUMMARY
Our Maintenance team is an all-star group that looks after a number of needs within our facility. Maintenance Team Members are a resource to production; correcting and preventing machine failures, troubleshooting and periodically, installing or moving equipment. Our Maintenance team is dynamic, they solve technical problems, program and repair automated machinery and robotics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Solve technical problems, program and repair automated machinery and robotics.
  • Knoweldge of PLC Programming logic and all aspects of inputs and outputs of the system.
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting and perform electrical installations.
  • Complete routine and preventative maintenance on high volume manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze and optimize automated machines and systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.).
  • Creative thinking, you'll need the ability to come up with new ideas and implement them on machinery and in programmable logic.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on grounds, equipment and systems.
  • Undertake special projects and activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • You need to be highly self-motivated to be successful in this position. This role is very disciplined and requires you to have strong work ethic.
  • You'll also need proven time-management abilities. Our operating environment is dynamic and priorities change quickly.
  • PLC experience (Mitsubishi preferred) and familiarity with modern robots (Fanuc preferred) are pluses.
  • You have a mechanical aptitude and good working knowledge and experience with industrial equipment.
  • Your experiences with welding, metal working, and general facility maintenance are all valued.
  • If you have a license in an applicable skilled trade, you will be given heightened consideration.

EDUCATION
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Trade School graduate preferred
  • Formal Robotics/PLC training and/or courses

This is a full-time position, on a two-week rotation, days and afternoons. Overtime is required, often on short notice, including some weekends and holidays. Please ensure you can accommodate this schedule before you decide to apply.
