In partnership with Prime Management Group Inc., Steelway Building Systems is recruiting for a driven, collaborative, results-oriented VP of Finance to join and lead their organization in one of their state-of-the-art facilities in Aylmer, Ontario.
Reporting to the Integrator (GM), the VP of Finance provides financial leadership to the Ardent family of companies (Steelway Building Systems, ExSteel Building Components, Zelus Material Handling, Glass Canada and Ventri Door Technologies).

In partnership with Prime Management Group Inc., Steelway Building Systems is recruiting for a driven, collaborative, results-oriented VP of Finance to join and lead their organization in one of their state-of-the-art facilities in Aylmer, Ontario.
Reporting to the Integrator (GM), the VP of Finance provides financial leadership to the Ardent family of companies (Steelway Building Systems, ExSteel Building Components, Zelus Material Handling, Glass Canada and Ventri Door Technologies).

- Overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, taxes, and general financial administration across the Ardent level creating synthesis and consistency.
- Formulating and executing operational financial strategies and proving strategic input to drive the ongoing success of the organization to optimize return on investment for the company.
- Monitoring financial performance, measuring, and analyzing metrics, and planning against long-term and annual operating budgets and collaborate with leaders to enhance financial and internal reporting processes and ensure best practices and financial polices and procedures reflect industry standards.
- Assessing and executing various mergers and acquisitions opportunities.
- Identifying gaps, leading change and implementing internal controls while managing financial risks and insurance requirements. and managing business risks and insurance requirements.
To qualify for this exciting and unique opportunity, you will have:
- CPA or equivalent designation
- 10+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience managing multiple businesses through a parent company
- Good understanding and technological literacy with accounting systems, spreadsheets, ERP systems, job costing, and other business software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable presenting results to an executive leadership team
- Concise and detail-oriented individual with strong ability to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data
