POSITION: Registered Practical Nurse (Competition #2021-209)
LOCATION: Woodingford Lodge – Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent Part-time
REPORTING TO: Registered Nurse
UNION AFFLIATION: UNIFOR
CURRENT SALARY
SCALE: $30.77 - $31.91 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
Duties include: Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, gives medications and treatments, assesses, documents and assists with resident care, reviews, updates and evaluates resident care plans. This position requires availability on all shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful completion of a Registered Practical Nursing Program; current registration with the College of Nurses; current CPR (Level C or Health Care Provider) certificate; experience with computers and software; and good interpersonal skills. Valid Ontario driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle with insurance are required.
In accordance to Ministry Guidelines in regards to Long Term Care Homes, the successful candidate will be required to commit to only being employed at Woodingford Lodge at this time, and proof of a negative COVID test is also required. We appreciate your understanding that Oxford County is focusing on employee, resident, and community safety.
