Job Description
Drake International is looking for 5 Order Pickers to join our client's site in East London. We are looking for professional individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.
This is a full time opportunity that will allow candidates to learn and grow their skillset on the job. Our client offers a great work environment and 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience within;
- Order Picking / Packing
- Warehousing
- Shipping / Receiving
- General Labour
This position is considered a temporary to permanent contract - it is not suitable for students returning to school in September as our client is looking to add team members who wish to start a long term career with their company.
Duties include:
- Work independently to pick, pack and ship orders.
- Re-stock parts from overstock to pick locations
- Pick orders accurately
- Pack orders accurately
- Receive, check-in and put away stock quickly and accurately.
- Replenish picking locations and unload trailers
- Adhere to company safety policies and safety compliance regulations
Minimum Requirements:
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs,
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Forklift experience considered an asset
- Reliable vehicle (location is NOT bus accessible)
Day shift: Monday – Friday (6:30am - 3:00pm)
Afternoon shift: Monday – Friday (3pm - 11:30pm)
Wage: $16/hr
